Adi and David’s wedding was held at Central Park North. Adi is someone I used to work with a few years back and I was thrilled when she asked me to photograph her wedding. The wedding was gorgeous and elegant in a minimalistic way.

Adi is peeking out on her balcony right after finishing getting ready.
The ceremony was held outside right in Central Park. It was a VERY hot day and I loved the fans that were handed out to guests at the entrance to the pond garden.
Adi being her gorgeous stupendous self while sitting on the steps at the entrance to the park.
Chuppah time! (This happens to be one of the bride’s favorite pictures from the wedding. To be totally honest this was during the practice right before the chuppah.)
And this one happens to be one of my favorites from the photography set. I love the earnest look the couple is sharing here.
Back at the reception on their roof. I loved their earthy and simple, yet sophisticated style of decor.
The bouquet toss. I was psyched that there was still natural light. I love shooting with natural light because of the organic look that the pictures inherit. Because this was outside, there were no ceilings from which to bounce off the light. But of course, this is one of the many reasons that I bring a lighting assistant to the wedding – to help hold the strobes and other types of flashes.
Adi getting teary eyed at David’s speech, which was indeed, very emotional.
The rooftop reception right after sunset. There was also a lot of dancing, which you can see in the additional photo slideshow here.
Cupcakes that were baked by David’s younger daughter!!! I love how dramatically they stand out in the darkness.
